Simplifying Communication with the Kwayga Messaging Centre

Request Messages vs. General Messages

To keep your communications streamlined, the Kwayga Messaging Centre separates messages into two categories: Request Messages and General Messages.

  • Request Messages: These are directly related to specific Purchase Requests. As a buyer, you can start conversations with suppliers you've shortlisted for a particular request. This ensures that all discussions related to a specific request can be quickly found, making it easy to track the progress and details of that request.

  • General Messages: These are for broader, networking conversations. Whether you want to discuss future opportunities or simply stay in touch with your connections, General Messages allow you to start and maintain conversations outside the context of a specific purchase request.

Navigating Your Messages

The Messaging Centre is designed to be user-friendly, providing a clear overview of all your communications:

  • Messages Overview: On your overview page, you can see all your messages at a glance. Clicking on any message will open the chat, allowing you to quickly dive into the conversation.

  • Right Sidebar: Your messages will also be available from your right sidebar. If you're a buyer, you'll see all your open requests with the shortlisted suppliers listed under Request Messages. As a supplier, you’ll see the purchase requests you’ve been shortlisted for, and clicking on them will take you directly to the conversation with the buyer.

AI-Driven Automatic Translation: Breaking Language Barriers

In a global marketplace, the Kwayga Messaging Centre addresses language barriers with its AI-driven automatic translation feature. With just a click, all conversations can be instantly translated into the reader’s preferred language. This ensures that language differences don’t hinder collaboration or clarity, allowing for seamless communication between international buyers and suppliers.

Team-Based Communication

Chats on Kwayga are team-based, meaning all members of both the buyer’s and supplier’s teams have access to the conversations. This setup ensures that everyone involved in the transaction is on the same page, with full visibility of the discussions taking place.

To further enhance communication, team members can manage their notifications for each chat using a toggle at the top of the chat window. This allows users to stay informed about the conversations that matter most to them.

Chat Details at Your Fingertips

The left sidebar in the Messaging Centre provides the chat details to help you stay informed and organised:

  • Key Info: Key information about the company you’re communicating with is readily available.

  • Quick Access: You can easily access the company's profile and, in the case of Request Messages, view the purchase request page.

  • Participants: See who else is part of the conversation, ensuring transparency and collaboration.

  • Attachments: Quickly access all documents and images shared in the chat, making it easy to reference important files without searching through past messages.
