Kwayga’s Story
Mike and Martin met in 2018. Post the disruption caused by Brexit, Martin was looking for online solutions for buyers to meet suppliers in new markets and vice versa. When he couldn’t find a solution online, he asked a business contact: ‘Who is the sourcing expert in the food and drinks world?’. He was introduced to Mike.
Armed with more than 15 years of experience as a consultant guiding B2B buyers in the ever-evolving food and drinks industry, Mike had a great understanding of the challenges his clients faced.
On the other hand, Martin had a wealth of knowledge garnered over decades in the world of banking, where he had mastered the art of due diligence and understood its importance for B2B businesses.

When Brexit became a reality, Mike saw his clients face unprecedented difficulties. One of them had their costs increased by 25%, which led to the end of a long relationship with a British supplier.
